Welcome the the Penyale and Appleby Railway. We are a preservation group running on the (fictional) GER secondary Mainline, from Harleston to Appleby, with our base at Penyale Park.

The real story is, that I am a 14 year old from Peterborough, who loves railways, particularly steam and the LNER, but also other steam, and diesels. I got into the hobby in 2002 with a Flying Scotsman set for Christmas, but it is only in the last couple of years that I have seriously started the hobby, and currently have a loco collection of about 20, with lots of accompanying rolling stock, and run them on a large layout, with a 2 track mainline, large station, large engine shed, and small goods yard. All of which is housed in my Bedroom.
This website will detail the goings on of my layout, with construction, detailing, and running included.
The site is currently under major construction, but I hope to have it completed fairly soon, and it will obviously progress as the layout does. For now though, have fun looking through the site, and check back regularly!
