Wagons and Brake vans
Here at the P&AR we have a wide range of wagons on the railway, restored for photo charters and gala use, but also for the occasional revenue earning train. The wagons are restored and maintained by both our carriage and wagon department, and also sperate groups at the railway. Below are some pictures of our goods stock, including ex-LNER coal wagons, beautifully restored for charters, but occasionally used on real coal trains, our 'food train' used to collect goods from the local farms for onward shipment over our rails and BRs network to places all over the country, and our private owner rake of wagons, lovingly maintained by groups, who focus on restoring them to liveries of the local area.
